Job Description

As a Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances. Your role involves ensuring safe and timely deliveries while maintaining a high standard of vehicle upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods securely and efficiently across South Africa.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure that cargo is loaded and secured according to safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding deliveries.
• Manage delivery schedules to meet customer expectations.
• Utilize GPS and other navigation tools to plan delivery routes.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times.
• Actively participate in training programs to enhance driving skills.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in long-haul trucking.

• Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Training Certification

Languages
