Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Sandton. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, generating reports, and providing insights to assist management in making informed business decisions. You will play a crucial role in budget planning and operational performance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial models and assess risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and variance reports.
• Assist the Finance Manager in formulating budgetary plans.
• Monitor financial performance metrics and strategic goals.
• Develop materials for presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support data analysis for decision-making processes.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and financial record maintenance.
• Collaborate on the enhancement of financial reporting systems.
• Liaise with auditors to assist with year-end audits.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives across finance operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance
• CFA or similar certification is highly regarded

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in finance roles

Technical Skills

• Financial Reporting
• Quantitative Analysis
• Power BI

Soft Skills

Certifications

• CFA Level II or III preferred
• Financial Modeling certifications are an asset

Languages

• English: Fluent
