Job Description

As a Go Developer, you will collaborate with a team of innovative engineers, contributing to various stages of application development. Your role will focus on creating efficient and scalable solutions that meet our clients' needs, while enjoying the vibrant tech culture in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Create RESTful services and APIs for application integration.
• Collaborate with product managers to define development scope.
• Assist in the continuous integration and continuous deployment process.
• Review technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Lead brainstorming sessions to explore innovative development solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field
• Advanced degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of proven experience in backend development with Go

Technical Skills

• Microservices
• Docker

• Analytical skills
• Adaptability

Languages

• Zulu: Intermediate
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB): Experience with NoSQL databases for application data storage.
• Ability to mentor junior developers: Familiarity with mentoring practices and aiding team growth.
