Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our dedicated mental health team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions, focusing on enhancing mental well-being in the community. You will be instrumental in conducting individual therapy sessions and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop customized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations.
  • Offer evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Engage in case consultations with other clinicians.
  • Participate in workshops and seminars to enhance professional skills.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health issues and resources.
  • Support mental health initiatives within the local community.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology
  • Post-graduate training in clinical psychology is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in mental health roles
