We are in search of a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be proficient in diagnosing and treating various animal conditions and will possess a passion for animal welfare. Responsibilities

• Utilize diagnostic laboratories and imaging technology.
• Administer vaccines and perform preventative health checks.
• Mentor and guide less experienced staff members.
• Ensure all veterinary practices adhere to health and safety standards.
• Handle euthanasia with compassion when necessary.
• Participate in community outreach and educational events.
• Collaborate closely with pet owners to ensure optimal care.
• Document all treatments and surgeries accurately.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and medications.
• Implement best practices in surgical protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Diploma in Animal Health care is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of clinical experience with animals

• Animal handling

Certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
