Job Description

We are seeking a talented Architect to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background and experience in both residential and commercial projects. Your role will involve collaborating with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs that meet functional and aesthetic needs.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive architectural plans and models for a variety of projects.
• Liaise with clients to ascertain their requirements and objectives.
• Oversee construction sites to ensure adherence to the architectural plans.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and timelines.
• Provide expert advice on materials and construction methods.
• Conduct design reviews and update plans based on client feedback.
• Prepare documentation for project approvals and permits.
• Mentor junior architects and interns in design best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Architecture preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• Civil Engineering Principles
• 3D Rendering Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Time Management

Certifications

• PMP Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with local building codes and zoning regulations: Understanding of Johannesburg's building codes and regulations.
