Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee our operations in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You will manage daily operations, ensure the highest standards of food and beverage quality, and lead a team dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise restaurant operations and ensure guests receive exceptional service.
  • Train new staff on service standards and operational procedures.
  • Conduct staff meetings to boost morale and productivity.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Implement customer feedback systems to improve service.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Create staff schedules that optimize service during peak hours.
  • Plan and execute events and promotions to increase footfall.
  • Collaborate with the chef on menu changes and specials.
  • Ensure compliance with liquor laws and regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management preferred
  • Advanced diploma in management is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant
