Job Description

We are seeking a talented UI Designer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be integral in designing user interfaces that are both visually appealing and functional. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, and product managers to create responsive and user-friendly designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for aesthetics and a passion for intuitive user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with UX designers to create optimal user experiences.
• Conduct user research and gather feedback to improve designs.
• Maintain consistency across all design outputs.
• Ensure a responsive design across devices and platforms.
• Monitor and analyze user behavior to inform design decisions.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and tools.
• Work closely with developers during the implementation phase.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in UI/UX Design or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in UI design

Technical Skills

• Adobe XD
• InVision

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with HTML and CSS: Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 for better collaboration with developers.
• Familiarity with Design Systems: Experience in working with design systems to ensure consistency.
