UI Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented UI Designer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be integral in designing user interfaces that are both visually appealing and functional. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, and product managers to create responsive and user-friendly designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for aesthetics and a passion for intuitive user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex requirements into visually appealing user interfaces.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless design integration.
• Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes for review.
• Participate in design critique sessions to share insights and improvements.
• Document and maintain design guidelines and processes.
• Assist in the development of user personas and scenarios.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in UI/UX Design or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in UI design

• Adobe XD
• InVision

• Team Player

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of JavaScript: Basic understanding of JavaScript to better communicate with the development team.
