Pattern Caster

Job Description

As a Pattern Caster at Manufacturing Solutions Ltd., you will be integral to our production process by creating precise patterns used in casting. This role requires a keen eye for detail, as you will work closely with engineers to ensure that all specifications are met while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality patterns for various casting processes.
• Keep up to date with new pattern-making technologies and techniques.
• Work closely with quality control to address any issues with patterns.
• Train and guide apprentices and new hires in pattern-making techniques.
• Conduct regular maintenance on all pattern-making equipment.
• Collaborate with the production team to improve operational efficiency.
• Implement improvements to existing processes for pattern-making.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance productivity.
• Review and interpret technical drawings related to casting.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in pattern-making or equivalent

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Advanced pattern-making technologies

Certifications

• Health and Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
