Network Security Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Network Security Specialist to strengthen our cybersecurity posture in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding our network infrastructure from threats while ensuring compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the configuration and maintenance of firewalls, VPNs, and other security devices.
• Ensure regular updates and patches are applied to security systems.
• Video security incidents and prepare action reports.
• Work with external security consultants as required.
• Develop and review security policies and best practices.
• Provide guidance and support for IT projects related to security.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
