Job Description

Seeking an experienced Mental Health Counselor for our Cape Town clinic. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy. Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of clients.
• Create and implement treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Lead group therapy sessions focused on mental wellness and recovery.
• Document therapy sessions and treatment progress meticulously.
• Provide emergency support during psychological crises.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Engage in community education initiatives to raise mental health awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of counseling experience, preferably in a mental health setting
