Aerospace Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an Aerospace Engineer to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will engage in aircraft design, testing, and development, contributing significantly to our projects. You will be responsible for analyzing system performance and ensuring compliance with aerospace regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of aerospace component manufacturing.
• Create and amend designs using CAD software.
• Develop specifications and test plans.
• Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Contribute to technical reports for project documentation.
• Participate in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Work on integration projects involving multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in a related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years' experience in aerospace product development

Technical Skills

• Systems Engineering principles
• Aerospace Compliance Standards

Certifications

• Certified Systems Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
