Job Description

We are looking for a Civil Engineer who is passionate about infrastructure development. You will be involved in planning, design, and overseeing construction projects in Bloemfontein. Our ideal candidate will have a solid background in civil engineering principles, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and timelines for civil engineering projects.
• Perform structural analysis and design for various types of infrastructure.
• Review and approve construction drawings and plans.
• Ensure all projects adhere to local and national standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on project execution.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage project-related risks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master’s degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in civil engineering

Technical Skills

• Structural design
• Project management
• AutoCAD

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PrEng) certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
