Responsibilities

• Lead the design and planning phases of architectural projects.
• Engage and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Develop and present creative architectural solutions.
• Ensure all designs are compliant with safety and zoning laws.
• Manage timelines and allocate resources effectively.
• Conduct quality assurance checks throughout the construction process.
• Enhance the visual appeal and functionality of spaces.
• Incorporate sustainable building practices in all projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years experience in architectural design and project management

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• 3D Modeling Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Registered Architect (SACAP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with local building regulations: Understanding of the local zoning laws and building codes in South Africa.
• Experience in project management: Proven experience in managing architectural projects from start to finish.
