Responsibilities

• Conduct health screenings and promote health management.
• Evaluate and interpret prescription orders for accuracy.
• Serve as a resource for pharmacy technicians and interns.
• Prepare compounded medications as needed.
• Engage in community outreach to promote pharmacy services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Postgraduate training in Pharmaceutical Care is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years in community or hospital pharmacy

Technical Skills

• Clinical pharmacy

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Certification in Immunization: Ability to administer vaccines in a community pharmacy setting.
• Previous experience in clinical trials: Experience in managing and reporting on clinical study medications.
