Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for potential projects.
• Design and analyze infrastructure projects using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Coordinate with architects, stakeholders, and contractors on project delivery.
• Monitor project budgets and timelines, identifying risks and proposing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and health and safety regulations.
• Communicate project updates to clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns within the department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree or additional certifications in civil engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of civil engineering experience with a track record of successful projects
