User Experience Researcher

Job Description

We are seeking a creative and analytical User Experience Researcher to join our team in Cape Town. You will play a crucial role in understanding user needs and behaviours, conducting qualitative and quantitative research, and informing design strategies to enhance our digital products.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute user research activities, including A/B testing.
• Compile and present research findings to various teams.
• Monitor user experience metrics post-launch.
• Create and maintain a research repository for easy access.
• Facilitate design thinking workshops with team members.
• Collaborate on design projects to ensure user-centered approaches.
• Identify opportunities for improving existing products based on research.
• Build strong relationships with users to foster open communication.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX research or a related role

Technical Skills

• Survey Design
• Wireframing

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in E-commerce UX: Understanding user experience in online shopping platforms.
