Job Description

We are seeking an AI Research Scientist to join our cutting-edge team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, data analysis, and AI modeling. You will play a key role in designing algorithms and developing AI-driven solutions, contributing to innovative projects.

Responsibilities

• Research new techniques in AI and machine learning to improve existing processes.
• Coordinate with product teams to understand requirements and deliver AI solutions accordingly.
• Analyze large datasets and extract meaningful predictions and insights.
• Develop prototypes and proof of concepts for new AI applications.
• Contribute to open-source AI projects to enhance the organization's presence in the AI community.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or related field
• Master's degree with significant research experience is acceptable

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in AI and machine learning research
