Job Description

We are currently seeking a compassionate Mental Health Counselor to support clients in managing their mental health challenges. In this role, you will engage with individuals to assess their needs, develop therapeutic strategies, and facilitate personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients to inform treatment decisions and approaches.
• Create detailed progress reports and treatment updates.
• Facilitate therapeutic activities that enhance emotional well-being.
• Provide continuous support and encouragement to clients.
• Stay current with mental health research and best practices.
• Advocate for clients’ needs within the healthcare system.
• Attend professional development workshops and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Counseling Psychology or equivalent
• Certifications in trauma-informed care preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in mental health counseling or therapy role
