Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will provide medical care to a variety of pets and wildlife. You will be responsible for diagnosing illnesses, performing surgeries, and managing treatments. Ideal applicants should have a strong commitment to animal welfare and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in both small and large animals.
  • Perform routine surgeries and oversee the recovery process of patients.
  • Educate clients about preventive health care and nutritional advice.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment for optimal patient care.
  • Actively participate in clinic meetings to improve service delivery and care protocols.
  • Build strong relationships with clients while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
  • Postgraduate qualifications in specialized veterinary fields are an advantage
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in veterinary practice is preferred
