As a Veterinary Technician at Animal Care Clinic, you will play a crucial role in the care of animals. Your responsibilities will include assisting veterinarians during examinations and surgeries, performing laboratory tests, and providing excellent care to our furry patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures and provide anesthesia support.
• Perform dental cleanings and assist in dental procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic.
• Handle medical imaging and laboratory equipment.
• Assist with client communications and scheduling.
• Stay current with veterinary best practices and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Veterinary Science or equivalent certification

Experience

• 2+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred

• Anesthesia monitoring

Certifications

• Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE)
• Basic Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
