Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented ML Engineer to join our innovative team in Cape Town. In this role, you will leverage machine learning techniques to build and optimise AI models that drive impactful solutions in various sectors. You should have a strong understanding of statistical modeling and be proficient in programming languages relevant to machine learning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop prototypes of machine learning applications.
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability through best practices.
  • Optimize ML models for efficiency and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist in troubleshooting production issues related to ML models.
  • Keep abreast of advances in AI and incorporate new methodologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Mathematics
  • Advanced degree in a related field preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in ML with a strong portfolio
