Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

We are searching for an experienced HR Generalist in Bloemfontein who will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of South African labour laws and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, cases, and results.
• Lead testing efforts on various release cycles, ensuring timely completion.
• Participate in design discussions to provide input on quality considerations.
• Train and mentor junior QA team members on testing methodologies and tools.
• Stay updated with new testing tools and methodologies to enhance testing processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent

Experience

• 5 years of experience in QA methodologies and frameworks

Technical Skills

• API Testing
• Performance Testing Tools

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CST)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of SQL: Ability to write and execute SQL queries for database testing.
• Experience with Mobile Testing: Hands-on experience with testing mobile applications.
