We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be tasked with designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components. You will collaborate with a dynamic group of engineers and specialists to deliver innovative solutions in various projects.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement new technologies in mechanical design.
• Conduct experiments and analyze results to validate designs.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for materials and components.
• Support project goals through innovative engineering solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development

Technical Skills

• MATLAB
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Lean Manufacturing certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
