Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Heel Cutter to join our team. As a Heel Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and shaping heels for various shoe styles. You will work closely with the production team to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of shoe heels.

Responsibilities

• Operate heel cutting machinery and tools as per the specifications.
• Ensure precise measurement and alignment for consistent quality.
• Inspect processed heels for defects and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve specific requirements.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining workmanship standards.
• Attend trainings to enhance skills and stay updated.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
• Certification in footwear manufacturing preferred

Experience

• Experience in a similar role within the footwear or manufacturing industry is preferred

Technical Skills

• Automated cutting machines operation
• Knowledge of heel styles and designs

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Time management skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with automated cutting machines: Familiarity with automated machinery in the heel cutting process.
• Ability to operate other machinery in production: Experience with different machinery in footwear manufacturing.
