Job Description

We are seeking a Scutcher Tender who will be responsible for operating and maintaining scutching machines in textile production. The successful candidate will work closely with a talented team to meet production targets while ensuring quality control and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Effectively operate and manage scutching machinery during production runs.
• Review production reports to track progress and identify areas needing improvement.
• Maintain clear communication with the production team to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of machines to prevent breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively to develop solutions for potential production issues.
• Keep meticulous records of production output and machine performance.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity.
• Actively participate in quality assurance processes and contribute to improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate
• Technical or vocational training in textile production is preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in textile production is advantageous but not essential
