Civil Engineer

Job Description

As a Civil Engineer based in Pretoria, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful execution of civil engineering projects from concept through to completion. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, utilize modern engineering software, and contribute to project planning and management.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in the delivery of civil engineering projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and interns.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings and models using CAD software.
• Evaluate and select construction materials and techniques for projects.
• Foster a positive team environment and facilitate communication among team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in infrastructure development.
