Job Description

As a Computer User Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end users. This role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage user queries with expertise and professionalism.
  • Support users with software installation and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
  • Conduct assessments to identify areas for improvement in user support.
  • Provide insights to management for improving support services.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric or equivalent
  • Diploma in Computer Science or IT preferred
Experience
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in IT support.
Technical Skills
  • Windows OS
  • Office 365 Support
Certifications
  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Familiarity with backup solutions: Experience with data backup and recovery strategies.
  • Experience with scripting languages: Basic knowledge of PowerShell or Python for automation tasks.
