Job Description

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in finance to support clients with strategic planning and investment decisions. From financial analysis to deal structuring, your insights will be integral to our clients' success in a competitive market.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze applications for coverage and risk management.
• Work jointly with clients to discuss coverage options and clarify expectations.
• Calculate rates based on established company underwriting guidelines.
• Monitor existing policies to identify areas for review or updating.
• Develop strong relationships with agents and customers.
• Participate in claims reviews to ensure adherence to underwriting standards.
• Analyze trends in claims to minimize future losses.
• Prepare reports on underwriting activities and outcomes.
• Conduct assessments of property or personnel as required.
• Advise on risk management and mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, or related field
• Advanced degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in insurance underwriting

• Financial Acumen

Certifications

• CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter)
• CAI (Certified Actuarial Insurance)

Languages

• English: Fluent
