As an Insurance Underwriter at Top Insurance Solutions in Pretoria, you'll assess and underwrite insurance applications, ensuring that we maintain our reputation for excellence in customer service. Responsibilities

• Analyze new insurance applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Evaluate the financial stability and background of applicants.
• Work closely with claims adjusters to assess risk post-issue.
• Provide training and support to junior underwriters.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Advise on improvements to underwriting processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business, or related field
• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in underwriting

• Policy Analysis

Certifications

• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
• Associate in Risk Management (ARM)
