As a Tax Consultant at Top Tax Advisors, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with clients to provide expert advice on a variety of taxation matters. Your role will involve reviewing financial documents, preparing tax returns, and advising clients on tax compliance and planning strategies. Responsibilities

• Facilitate client meetings to discuss tax strategies and compliance.
• Assist in developing tax-efficient structures for clients.
• Provide training and support to junior staff in tax-related matters.
• Conduct workshops on tax compliance and planning for clients.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to financial planning.
• Prepare documentation for audit purposes and ensure records are kept current.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's in Taxation is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in tax consulting or compliance

Certifications

• Tax Administration Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Expertise in VAT regulations: Deep knowledge of Value Added Tax legislation and compliance in South Africa.
• Previous experience in a consulting firm: Experience working in a dynamic consulting environment.
