Online Educator

Job Description

We are looking for an Online Educator with strong communication skills and an enthusiasm for online learning. In this role, you will design course materials, assess student performance, and provide constructive feedback, all while working remotely from Port Elizabeth.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct online workshops and seminars to enhance learning.
• Develop assessments that accurately measure student understanding.
• Provide mentorship and support to students in their educational journeys.
• Implement feedback mechanisms to improve course quality continuously.
• Engage in regular meetings with the instructional team to discuss course development.
• Research and integrate new educational tools and techniques into the curriculum.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Education or Psychology
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in online course instruction or development

Certifications

• Professional Certificate in Online Teaching
• Advanced Teaching Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

• Experience in developing multimedia content: Ability to create engaging course materials using video, audio, and interactive elements.
