Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our team in Cape Town. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving various technical issues while providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, possess strong problem-solving skills, and have a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for IT support inquiries.
• Resolve hardware and software issues for end users.
• Configure and maintain user accounts in Active Directory.
• Ensure IT security protocols are followed and updated.
• Assist with the implementation of new technologies.
• Conduct regular audits of IT equipment and software.
• Collaborate with vendors on equipment repairs or sourcing.
• Provide assistance in deploying and managing software updates.
• Document troubleshooting steps and outcomes for future reference.
• Assist with ensuring compliance with IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in IT support with a focus on end-user support

• Windows and Mac OS

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages
