Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity protocols and will be responsible for safeguarding our systems against threats. You will work collaboratively with IT teams to design and implement security measures that protect sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce network security standards.
• Create security awareness programs to educate employees about risks.
• Analyze security breaches to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Act as a subject matter expert and point of contact for cybersecurity issues.
• Liaise with external partners, vendors, and security agencies.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Cyber Security or related field
• Relevant certifications preferred (CISSP, CEH)

Experience

• 5+ years of comprehensive experience in cybersecurity roles
