Solar Thermal Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Solar Thermal Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar thermal systems. They will work closely with our engineering team to ensure efficient and reliable operation of solar thermal equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission solar thermal systems efficiently and safely.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on clients' equipment.
• Document and report on system performance and maintenance activities.
• Work alongside the engineering team to optimize installations based on performance data.
• Educate customers on solar thermal systems and provide ongoing customer support.
• Assist in the development of standard operating procedures for solar thermal installations.
• Participate in training programs for new staff on solar thermal technology.
• Collaborate on large-scale projects to ensure timely completion.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant degree or diploma in Renewable Energy
• Certification from a recognized institution in solar thermal technology is a plus

Experience

• At least 2 - 5 years of direct experience in solar thermal systems
