Physiotherapist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our expert team in Johannesburg. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with various physical ailments and help them restore their mobility and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze patient conditions and create appropriate intervention strategies.
• Assist patients in achieving their goals and independent living.
• Administer physical modalities, including heat, cold, and electrotherapy.
• Record and report patient outcomes and treatment efficacy.
• Participate in community outreach and health promotion initiatives.
• Stay current with developments in physical therapy practice.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Specialization in Sports Physiotherapy is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in outpatient physiotherapy

Technical Skills

• Rehabilitative Exercises
• Manual Therapy

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Internationally recognized physiotherapy certification
• Specialization course in sports physiotherapy
• Registered Physiotherapist (RPT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Pilates or yoga therapy: Experience in integrating Pilates or yoga therapy into rehabilitation plans.
• Bilingual abilities: Ability to communicate with patients in Afrikaans is a plus.
