We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio showcasing innovative architectural designs and possess a good understanding of sustainable practices. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing residential and commercial projects from concept to completion, ensuring each design meets the client's specifications and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed architectural plans and 3D models using design software.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss design concepts and client feedback.
• Research materials and construction methods to ensure optimal project outcomes.
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects.
• Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.
• Coordinate with landscape architects to integrate outdoor spaces into designs.
• Document project changes and maintain records throughout the design process.
• Lead design presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Explore innovative solutions for sustainable design.
• Oversee the design review process to ensure quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote completed projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Architecture or Design is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in residential and commercial design
