Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Fitness Instructor to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and leading fitness programs tailored to individual client needs, ensuring they achieve their personal health and fitness goals. You will provide guidance, motivation, and support, fostering an inclusive and enthusiastic atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Design engaging group classes that cater to different fitness levels.
  • Assess client fitness levels and recommend appropriate programs.
  • Provide ongoing support and updates on individual fitness journeys.
  • Create a supportive community atmosphere within the gym.
  • Advise clients on injury prevention and recovery.
  • Collaborate with fellow fitness staff to enhance service offerings.
  • Assist in the organization of fitness challenges and events.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety in all areas.
  • Stay informed about new fitness trends and innovations.
  • Encourage ongoing health education among clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in Group Fitness Instruction
  • Specialization in Sports Medicine is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of group fitness instruction experience
