Job Description

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and experience in financial modelling and forecasting. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial reports, conducting market research, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. Your contributions will help shape the financial future of our clients as well as the company.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial reporting support and analysis.
  • Monitor financial performance indicators and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather financial insights.
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards for reporting purposes.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning process by providing accurate financial information.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration
  • Master's degree or MBA is preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of related experience in financial roles
Technical Skills
  • Quantitative Analysis
  • Financial Software (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
Soft Skills
  • Team Collaboration
  • Attention to Detail
Certifications
  • ACCA or other relevant certifications
  • CMA or other financial certifications is advantageous
Languages
  • English: Fluent
