Job Description

We are seeking a proactive IT Support Technician to join our vibrant team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operation of our IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical support requests and issue resolutions promptly.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on IT equipment.
• Maintain and support LAN/WAN environments.
• Ensure cybersecurity measures are followed in daily operations.
• Assist in the implementation of IT policies and procedures.
• Create and maintain user accounts and permissions.
• Provide training and support for new systems.
• Conduct regular system checks and updates.
• Collaborate with vendors for equipment repairs and support.
• Document solutions and create knowledge base articles.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in IT or equivalent
• Degree in Computer Science is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in IT support
