Job Description

Seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our vibrant medical team in Johannesburg. You will engage with patients, provide comprehensive health assessments, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of care provided to our diverse community.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient cases from initial consultation through ongoing treatment.
  • Implement health intervention strategies for patient support.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and chronic disease management.
  • Utilize diagnostic tests and interpret results to inform treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and practice standards.
  • Support community health initiatives and outreach programs.
  • Contribute to training and mentoring of junior medical staff.
  • Engage in patient follow-ups to monitor progress post-treatment.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree, preferably from a recognized university
  • Postgraduate qualifications in family medicine are advantageous
Experience
  • At least 5 years' experience in general practice
