Job Description

Join our clinic as a General Practitioner, where you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients. You will be responsible for diagnosing illnesses, managing treatment plans, and providing health education, ensuring our community feels cared for and informed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary healthcare and preventive services.
• Perform physical exams and order diagnostic tests.
• Manage referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Educate patients on health management and prevention.
• Ensure compliance with medical protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with the nursing staff to enhance patient care.
• Participate in patient-centered improvement initiatives.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Contribute to policy and procedural development.
• Provide compassionate patient care and support.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Specialization in Family Medicine is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical practice

Certifications

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
