Job Description

As a Microbiologist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing diseases by examining tissues and body fluids under a microscope. Your expertise will contribute directly to patient care and treatment decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct examinations of samples with high attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss findings impacting patient care.
  • Manage laboratory inventory and order supplies as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate performance monitoring and reporting of test results.
  • Support the research and development of microbiology methodologies.
  • Participate in laboratory audits and inspections as required.
  • Assist in troubleshooting discrepancies in test results.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Science in Clinical Microbiology or related field
  • Certification in Medical Microbiology is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant laboratory setting
