Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Animator to join our creative family in Cape Town. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting animation projects that showcase your artistic talents. Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality 2D and 3D animations for a variety of media.
• Coordinate with other creatives to brainstorm and develop cohesive storylines.
• Refine animations based on constructive feedback.
• Document processes and tutorials for future team reference.
• Assist in training junior animators and interns.
• Attend production meetings and contribute ideas for improving workflows.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Animation
• A certified animation course is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in animation across different media platforms

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite
• Digital Illustration

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of storyboarding and scriptwriting: Ability to enhance animations by understanding narrative structures.
• Knowledge of VR and Augmented Reality animation techniques: Exposure to emerging technologies in animation.
