Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems design, implementation, and maintenance. You will work closely with project managers and other engineers to develop innovative solutions that meet client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing electrical systems and recommend upgrades.
• Design energy-efficient electrical systems to reduce operational costs.
• Prepare bids and proposals for electrical engineering projects.
• Conduct risk assessments for electrical installations.
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory compliance documentation.
• Provide ongoing support for electrical maintenance and optimization.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors.
• Serve as a technical resource for project teams and clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Master's degree in relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in related engineering positions

Languages

• English: Fluent
