Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled psychologist to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will provide psychological assessment, therapy, and support to clients facing various mental health challenges. You'll be an essential part of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively to promote mental wellness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized therapy and counseling services.
• Conduct family and couples therapy when necessary.
• Evaluate client progress and modify treatment plans as required.
• Engage in supervision and peer consultation for professional development.
• Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system.
• Participate in case conferences to discuss client care strategies.
• Develop mental health resources and materials for clients.
• Engage in continuing education to enhance professional skills.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).

Experience

• 5+ years' experience in mental health services

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

• Trauma-Informed Care Training
• Crisis Intervention Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
