Pharmacist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join our team in Cape Town. This position requires a passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality pharmaceutical services. You will assist in the management of medication therapy and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Perform clinical screenings and assessments for patients.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations on over-the-counter medications.
• Conduct patient consultations and address inquiries related to medications.
• Facilitate smooth transitions of care for patients leaving the pharmacy.
• Contribute to the pharmacy's strategic planning and operational goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Pharm.D. is a significant advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of pharmacy experience preferred

• Bilingual capabilities: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
