Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Structural Iron and Steel Worker to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and erection of steel structures, ensuring that all work is completed to high standards and in compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all steel structures are aligned and leveled according to specifications.
• Assist in lifting heavy components safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area.
• Review project timelines and communicate with the Site Manager on progress.
• Implement best practices for safety and efficiency.
• Train new team members on equipment operation and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Trade certificate in steel erecting

Experience

• At least 3 years' experience in steel erection

Technical Skills

• Welding Techniques
• Heavy Machinery Operation

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Team Collaboration

Certifications

• Certification in Heavy Machinery Operation
• First Aid and Safety Training Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
