General Engineer

We are looking for a motivated General Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded engineering background, ready to tackle various projects. Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design processes from concept to implementation.
• Facilitate project meetings to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Review project progress and prepare reports for senior management.
• Support clients in the regulatory approval process for projects.
• Conduct site assessments to understand project feasibility.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering practices.
• Assist in resource management and allocation for engineering projects.
• Ensure adherence to quality control processes throughout the project.
• Actively participate in industry events and seminars for professional growth.
• Stay updated with engineering software advancements and tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• Postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in engineering with project lead experience

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• FEA Software

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
