DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our vibrant team in Centurion. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud computing platforms and DevOps practices to drive efficiency and innovation. You will work closely with software developers and IT operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and continuous integration of applications.

Responsibilities

• Integrate monitoring and alerting systems for cloud services.
• Assist in the migration of legacy systems to cloud-based solutions.
• Work closely with software developers to understand their tools and needs.
• Evaluate and suggest new tools to improve system performance.
• Train team members on DevOps practices and tools.
• Facilitate continuous improvement within the team to streamline processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree in relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years in DevOps, cloud computing, or related fields.

Technical Skills

• Cloud services (AWS, Azure)
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• CI/CD tools (Travis, CircleCI)

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Team player

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
